Brandenburg State Guarantees for the Economy and the Free Professions

Eligible applicants are

• commercial businesses and other establishments of the commercial economy as well as members of the liberal professions with at least one business location in Brandenburg,
• furthermore persons who participate in companies with a guaranteed loan in which they are or will be active in a leading position. The funding is subject to certain conditions:
• You must expect a proper repayment of the loan to be guaranteed.
• The guarantee will only be accepted if no other security is available to you in the required scope. Companies in difficulty are excluded from funding.

The state of Brandenburg provides guarantees to secure loans for economically viable projects that are carried out in Brandenburg.

• The guarantee can be granted to you as security for aval and credits for initial investments and for the procurement of operating resources.
• You will receive the subsidy as a default guarantee.
• The guarantee is limited to a maximum of 80% of the loan or default.
• The term of the guarantee is a maximum of 15 years. For investment loans for the financing of immovable assets, the term may be a maximum of 20 years.
• If your company is affected by the economic consequences of the Ukraine crisis, you can receive a guarantee of up to 90% of the loan amount until 31.12.2023. The term is 6 years. Submit your application to KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft before the start of the measure to be promoted.
