• The company headquarters must be in Germany.
• Coparion focuses on start-ups and growth companies that are younger than ten years old.
• The product or service must be innovative and should have high growth potential.
• The number of employees must not exceed 250 and annual sales must not exceed €50 million.
• The Coparion fund is open to all sectors and has no specific focus.
• The start-up should already be able to demonstrate initial successes, for example sales, important key customers or a successful market entry (see also proof of concept).

• Closing the existing gap in venture capital financing in the start-up and early growth phase
• Making your own network available
• Establishing contact with other investors
• Support in recruiting staff
• Contributing your own know-how and support
• Preparing the company for an exit

Participation to provide equity capital.
Requirement:

• Participation of a lead investor (investment company, natural or legal person) on the same economic terms
• Participation amount: max. €10 million per company
• Term: 10 years
