Directive to support projects under the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) for productivity and sustainability in agriculture

The recipient of the funding is a member of the operational group in the form of a natural or legal person under private or public law (lead partner).

The lead partner is the person or organization who represents the operational group in legal and business transactions and is responsible for the (financial) processing of the project towards the approval body.

The implementation of projects by operational groups is supported. This includes:

• the cooperation and activities of the operational group,
• the development of application-oriented innovative solutions with a focus on the needs of farmers and foresters,
• identifying and implementing ways to implement the results and transfer the generated results into practice.

Full funding in the form of a grant.
Personnel and remaining costs that are necessary to carry out the projects are eligible for funding:

• The eligible personnel costs can be recognized at the standard cost rates specified in the information sheet for determining personnel costs and remaining costs.
• The eligible remaining costs are recognized at 40 percent of the direct eligible personnel costs. The grant amounts to 100 percent of eligible expenses.
