Founder Allowance (according to § 93 SGB III)

Entrepreneurs who want to end their unemployment by starting a self-employed activity and still have a claim to unemployment benefit I of at least 150 days. Applicants who have reached the age of 65 or who have not yet passed 24 months after the end of a promotion to start a self-employed activity according to SGB III are excluded.

Taking on a self-employed activity.

• Six months entitlement to individual unemployment benefit plus a flat-rate allowance for social security in the amount of €300 at the discretion and proof of intensive, full-time entrepreneurial activity
• For a further nine months, a subsidy of €300 can be granted.
• The maximum funding period is 15 months.
• A viability check by a competent authority is required.
