Integration Support for Long-Term Unemployed and Family Need Groups

Legal persons of public and private law as well as legally capable partnerships.

Projects in the districts and independent cities of the state of Brandenburg are supported with the aim of gradually introducing the project participants to work and integrating them into employment or education, as well as strengthening the social participation and coexistence in the participating families. To this end, the combination of intensive individual counselling by integration assistants (social pedagogical support) with needs-based support modules is promoted.

Subsidy.
The personnel and material costs necessary for carrying out the measure are eligible for funding. Wage cost subsidies for participants are not eligible for funding. The subsidy from the European Social Fund (ESF) can amount to up to 60% of the eligible total expenditure. The necessary co-financing of the ESF funds is provided as a lump sum from benefits for securing a livelihood according to § 20 SGB II. The grant in relation to the total eligible expenditure may not exceed an average of €5,000 per participant.
