State Guarantee Program for SMEs

Eligible are small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) according to the EU SME definition.
The funding is subject to certain conditions:

• The location of your business or your investment is in Brandenburg.
• You must be creditworthy.
• You cannot apply for grants for restructuring or replacing unsecured loans.
• The loan to be secured must not have been granted to you before applying for the guarantee.

If you are planning business investments, you may be eligible for a guarantee under certain conditions.

The Bürgschaftsbank Brandenburg supports investors without sufficient security for financing economically sensible projects by assuming guarantees for loans. You will receive the funding as a guarantee. The amount of the guarantee is up to 75% of the loan amount, with the maximum loan amount not exceeding €2 million. The remaining 25% of the risk is borne by the applicant credit institution. Please submit your application through your house bank to the Bürgschaftsbank Brandenburg GmbH.
