There is no legal entitlement to Services for the Integration of Self-Employed Persons. Whether you receive Services is decided by your contact person at the job center. Before that, they check whether you meet these basic requirements:
- You receive basic income support or are entitled to it.
- You are self-employed full-time, are already self-employed or are expanding a minor self-employed activity.
- You are personally suitable to successfully carry out a self-employed activity. You can find more information about this at the bottom of the page.
- You can prove that you cannot use other sources of financing. These could be special federal and state programs, local economic development, bank loans or microloans.
- Your business is not insolvent.
- Your self-employment is (presumably) economically viable.
